Challenge #20.- Quirky Sewn with Love.- Reminder.

Un saludo de domingo y aprovecho para recordarles el reto #20 de Quirky Crafts "Cosido con amor", donde el único requisito es que tu proyecto tenga alguna relación con la costura. Se permiten proyectos relacionados con la costura, las puntadas, el quilt, o en fin cualquier proyecto que muestre algún elemento que se pueda relacionar con la costura o con la acción de coser.

Para mi recordatorio, yo estoy utilizando el archivo del carrete de hilo que está incluido en el set Sewing Machine

Opté por hacerlo un poco más grande y cortarlo en lámina transparente, para rellenarlo de botones y luego decorarlo con una cinta de caballito de yute, alfiler y flores. 

Los papeles usados son de la colección "Couture" de Graphic 45.

The 12 Months of Christmas.-Time for Giving.-A Card for a Child

Christmas is most definitely a time of giving and who better deserving of our thoughtfulness than the children of the world.  

Whether children in our own lives or those that are strangers, there is nothing better than looking upon the face of a child opening a Christmas gift.  Second to that is seeing how excited a child can be when they receive their own special card meant especially for him or her.

In order to have a chance to win the prize from our wonderful guest sponsor this month, we want to see a Christmas or other holiday card meant for a child between the ages of 0 & 12.  We can't wait to see how it turns out!  If you do follow the optional theme, be sure to add FT after your name so that we include you in the draw for the prize.

For my card, I try to make something any child will love so I make a cupcake and eggnog shaped card, that will match perfectly to the "Snowing Cupcakes" digi.

It makes me feel in a Christmas party!!!!

Digi Choosday.-Use something new.

For this week at Digi Choosday´s challenge, we have to use something new.

So for my project, I´m using a new collection, a new machine and a new technique.

This is the first time I used Picknix 3 Nordic Winter Collection

So, this is my new collection, all the papers, digis and cutting files I used in this project are from that collection.

My new machine is a laminator I bought to try out a new technique: Foiling

So I started by foiling the digis I was going to used and I loved how this turn out

Es mi turno de proponer el nuevo reto de Quirky Crafts y queremos ver proyectos relacionados con la costura, las puntadas, el quilt, así que son bienvenidos proyectos que muestren algún elemento que se pueda relacionar con la costura y con la acción de coser.

El patrocinador de este reto es The Cutting Cafe que nos ha provisto de los archivos con los que trabajó el equipo de diseño y de los premios que hay para este reto.

Para mi proyecto de esta semana, yo opté por alterar un caja usando algunos de los archivos de corte incluidos en Sewing Machine Set provisto por nuestro generoso patrocinador. 

Especialmente me encantó el sentimiento que traducido dice:

"Que tu bobina siempre esté llena"

No les parece que es un lindo deseo????

Quotes Cards Series, Card #1

I love quotes!!!!

I have 907 quotes pinned to my Quotes board on Pinterest :o)

This week I got the idea to start a card series mixing some of my favorite quotes with the lovely ScrappyDew´s characters.

For my first card I used a beautiful card about life and the adorable french girl included on "Costume Parade" Scrap Factory expansion pack. 

For the facial expressión I used "ScrappyDew Face Stamps Set 1"

I hope you enjoy this card series as much as me.
