Challenge #1 2015 Clean and Simple

Comenzamos un nuevo año de retos en Quirky Crafts Challenges.

Para este primer reto del año vamos a realizar tarjetas con la técnica de "Clean and Simple", que implica no usar muchos adornos, nada muy elaborado, mucho espacio "vacío". La idea es que sea una tarjeta simple con un foco de atención visual.

Y los premios son los siguientes:

Para mi proyecto, yo trabajé con este bellísimo digi "Bride Ankhi",  una novia indú.

Investigando un poquito sobre las bodas indues, me encontré con que utilizan el rojo como su color predominante y representa la pureza, la fertilidad, el amor, la belleza, la riqueza y el poder. También utilizan el oro como un símbolo de su status y para traer alegría y riqueza a la nueva familia. 

Me encantó colorear esta imagen!!!

Happy 2015!!!!!

The 12 Months of Christmas.-Challenge #1 "Father Time"

A new year means starting the clock over. 

A TIME for new beginnings. 

TIME to make all those Christmas Cards you will need in December. 

So don't put away your holiday stash quite yet, it is TIME to start

XMAS LUMINARIES

For my last 2014 Christmas project, I made a set of Xmas luminaries for my nieces rooms.

This is how the project looks when is not lighted

To make this sweet project I used the new 

Christmas Jammies

This is an expansion pack for the Scrap Factory, so you must have the Scrap Factory to be able to use it.

The 12 Months of Christmas.-December Crossover

Just about to start with The 12 Months of Christmas on 2015, I want to share with you a Christmas card for this December crossover.

To make my project I used this lovely digital paper, provided by 

Decosse´s Dynamite Doodles

 I used this beautiful design to make a tent card.

All the other pattern papers are also provided by Decosse´s Dynamite Doodles.

Digi Choosday.-Last Minute Christmas

You are late, just came back from buying your last Christmas presents, you have to make your Christmas Eve dinner, you forgot the tags for your presents. There is not enought time to color your digis.

What would you do?????

Well Polkadoodles digital papers and precoloured images will be the right answer to you.

For my "Last Minute Christmas" project, I made a set of three tags.

I used desing sheets 01, 03 and 06 from the 

"Work and Play 5, Festive Hollybobs Collection". 

The paper base of each tag and the sentiments are also part of the same collection.

In all the tags I used decoupage technique because the design sheets provides you all the elements to work with this lovely technique, giving your project a beautiful 3D effect.

To a final touch, I added fake snow, glitter and adhesive faux gemstones.

Challenge #25.-Shake it with a Quirky Winter Color Palette.-Reminder

Bienvenidos al recordatorio del último reto del año 2014 de Quirky Crafts Challenges.

Para este último reto queremos llenarnos del entusiasmo y la algarabía que acompaña la Navidad.

Por eso el reto consiste en hacer "shaker cards" en una paleta de colores de invierno.

Esta es la paleta de colores que estaremos usando:

Puedes participar en el reto de tres formas: 

1-Haciendo una shaker card con esta paleta de colores; o

2-Haciendo una shaker card de cualquier color; o

3-Haciendo cualquier tipo de proyecto que contenga esta paleta de colores.

Esta es la segunda parte del proyecto que había iniciado la semana pasada.

Es la segunda página de mi Smash Book, utilizando la "Mitten Shaker Card" provista por The Cutting Cafe. El sentimiento y los copos de nieve son del set imprimible "Fun with Frosty", tambien provista por nuestro patrocinador.

 

La niña en la foto es Sofi, mi hija, congelándose en Niagara Falls como a 15 grados bajo cero.
