Last week,while I was crafting, my son -Joaquin- was watching the classic 1931 film "DRACULA", masterfully acted by Bela Lugosi

I thought this greeting scene was perfect for a card.

Don´t you think this Dracula is identical to Bela Lugosi????

To make this card I used "Scrappys Silly Halloween" a funny ScrappyDew´s cutting file.

Challenge #22, Quirky Charades (is it a book, Film or Song?)

Para mi primer proyecto, me inspiré en una canción bellísima de Bette Midler "Wind Beneath My Wings" -una de mis canciones favoritas-.

Fly, fly, fly high against the sky,
so high I almost touch the sky.
Thank you, thank you,
thank God for you, the wind beneath my wings.

Inspirada entonces en el vuelo de la majestuosa águila, hice una tarjeta con la forma de las alas abiertas al vuelo de un águila y en el medio, disfrutando toda su libertad, el bellísimo sello de nuestro patrocinador Paper Pretties:

"FLUTTERBY"

Para mi segundo proyecto que inspiré en un cuento que impactó durante mi infancia: "La pequeña fosforera"

Para este proyecto, trabajé un tarjeta pop up con una llama y coloqué a la niña en el centro -representando lo que la pequeña fosforera imaginaba cada vez que encendía la llama de uno de sus fósforos- 

La niña es el  digi "SITTING PRETTY" de nuestro patrocinador Limited Runs.

After a long work week, finally is Friday ... Yippiee!!!!

For this week ScrappyDew`s project, I chose to make a Fall project.

I love Fall, is my favorite season, 

even though in my country -Costa Rica- we don´t have it.

I love the tree´s leaves changing color and falling and then the bare trees. 

I love the fields with huge pumpkins.

So this is a 

"Beary Happy Fall Box"

To make this project I used "Fall Bears" a free ScrappyDew`s file for THE VAULT members.

Por acá recordándoles el reto #21 de Quirky Crafts Challenges

"Let´s Quirky Frame it"

Recuerden el único requisito es que el proyecto tenga "marcos"

Para mi proyecto de este recordatorio, trabajé con el bellísimo sello digital "Christmas Kettle Mon Amour" de nuestro patrocinador The East Wind.

Como me encanta el brillo de la Navidad, utilicé cartón escarchado para el marco de árboles de navidad y para la base.

Y para agregar aún más brillo, también utilicé tul escarchado.

Para pintar mi sello, utilicé lápices de color Prismacolor.

Estoy trabajando en tratar de mejorar mis sombras, pero sigo trabajando y trabajando, algún día lograrte mi objetivo.

Para mi segundo proyecto trabajé con el divertido sello digital de "Frame it-Cinderella" de nuestro patrocinador Bugaboo.

Para hacer honor al divertido sentimiento que dice: "Cenicienta es la prueba de que un nuevo par de zapatos puede cambiar tu vida"; agregue al proyecto un par de zapatos de tacón muy alto en cartón animal print.

El sello está pintado también con lápices Prismacolor y el fondo con un poco de distress ink.

Tomorrow is my 46th birthday!!!!

I want to thank God for life, health, family and friends he had gave me a long this 46 years.

He has been my support in good times and bad times.

His hand has always been by my side.

To celebrate my birthday, I made a lantern shaped card with a lovely bear taken from ScrappyDew´s file "My Sunday Best"
