I love this challenge and the chance to show up the World in our projects.

For my project, I made a light in the dark triangular diorama card, 

showing in the background Buenos Aires city silhouette and in front this stunning Paper Shelter´s digi 

TANGO

I colored this lovely digi with Spectrum Noir Pens.

Challenge #13 Reminder - Some Quirky Stencils or Masks, or both

Recordandoles el reto #13 de Quirky Crafts Challenges.

Para este reto queremos ver proyectos donde se usen técnicas de estenciles o máscaras. O también podría ser un proyecto que contenga máscaras o antifaces.

Para mi proyecto, estoy usando al lindo "Garner" provisto por nuestro patrocinador "Paper Pretties"

El fondo de piedra sobre el que está Garner, lo hice usando una técnica que se llama "reverse masking",que aprendí de Jennifer McGuire y que cuyo tutorial lo puedes encontrar aqui.

El stencil del circulo de piedras, lo corté en acetado regular, con la Cameo.

Garner està coloreado con Spectrum Noir.

Happily Ever After

This has been a pretty heavy work week, but finally it is Friday, 

yeyeyeyey

For this week ScrappyDew project, I wanted to make a wedding card using "KNIGHTS" cutting file.

But then I realice that I had a problem: 

The higher tower of the castle must have 5.5 inches high, so, to keep proportions, I have to work the dolls couple in a very small format and is not easy if you are doing  paper piecing. 

So I had an idea: Use "print and cut"

The boy is 1.2 inches high, the girl 1 inch.

To make all the card, I used the "drag and drop" feature of Studio software and this gorgeous digital paper collection

Challenge #13 It's A Quirky Stencil and/or Masks Challenge!

Hola!!!!

Este nuevo reto de Quirky Crafts Challenges es simple. Queremos ver creaciones usando stenciles o mascaras. Lo pueden usar para hacer un fondo o como su creatividad mejor se los indique. O tambien podrían ser proyectos con imagenes usando mascaras -como las de carnaval- por ejemplo. Con cualquiera de las dos opciones podrias participar en este reto.

Este reto está patrocinado por Limited Runs Digital Stamps y Paper Pretties

Yo empecé mi proyecto haciendo mi propio stencil.

Para eso, corté acetato regular o filmina con la Cameo. Use los parámetros de corte que el programa Studio trae para cortar stencil de la marca Silhouette, pero funcionó perfectamente con el acetato regular.

Una vez cortado el stencil, hice un fondo de dos capas con Twinkling H2O´s en colores Meditarrean y Teal Zircon y finalmente una capa de Guesso.

Un acercamiento del fondo y del digi utilizado que es la hermosa "Nadia" provista por nuestro patrocinador Limited Runs.

Para colorearla utilicé los marcadores Spectrum Noir y le hice una efecto 3D usando papel decorado para su cuerpo.

Fight Like a Girl

An aunt, a cousin

When breast cancer hits family, the fight against it turns personal.

My God enlightened scientist to find a cure.

This project was done from my heart for all those brave women that are fighting against these disease. 

My God renew your strength.

Please, pray for my cousin, next week she is having a breast surgery as part of her cancer treatment.

For this project I used "Cancer Support" ScrappyDew file.

Challenge #12- "It´s Quirky Fairy World" -Reminder

Aquí recordándoles el reto #12 de Quirky Crafts Challenges.

Recuerden que para este reto, deben incluir al menos 3 de los siguientes elementos: Sol, nubes, luna, chispas y sentimiento; y por supuesto una hada.

Para mi proyecto, escogí el sello digital "Sleeping Faerie Dreama" provista por nuestro patrocinador Cracker Box Palace.

Para la parte superior hice un sol con papel de diversos diseños y le agregué las nubes que requería el reto.

En la parte inferior seguí usando papel de diseños diversos, para formar el escenario para color el hada durmiente y agregué el sentimiento "Live in the sunshine" que traducido sería "Vive bajo el rayo de sol".

Para colorear mi hada usé marcadores Spectrum Noir.

Fair Play

Hello dear friends!!!

Yesterday was the begining of the FIFA World Cup

Perfect timing to make a "Fair Play" card

Fair Play "represents the positive benefits of playing by the rules, usingo common sense and respecting fellow players, referees, opponents and fans."

The multiple color shirt represents all World countries that are getting together at the World Cup.

To make this card, I used the new expansion pack for the Scrapfactory

SPORTS EXPANSION PACK 

This new expansion pack provides different sports outfits

Also a lot of accesories 

And even titles

To make my little soccer player, I used "mix and match" feature of the Scrapfactory and chose: 

-Body 1 no open toes

-Jimmy hair style

-Soccer Uniform for the outfit

Don´t you think we need to have "fair play" even in life???
