Christmas is just around the corner.

I love Christmas time:

So, for my last post as ScrappyDew guest designer I have to chose one of their lovely Christmas files, the "Baking Gingerbreads" cutting file.

I made an advent calendar with non traditional Christmas colors.

Live Simply

Since I first saw the “Bonnets” file, I fell in love with it.  

And I knew I was going to use it for one of my paper projects.

This Friday I want to show you a flip flop card, using just two beautiful “bonnets” from that file.

The card message is an advice for life:

"Live simply, give more, expect less"

Tea Party Box

A new Friday, a new project using ScrappyDew cutting files.

Today I want to show a Tea Box I made using "Tea Party" cutting files, having in mind the quote 

"Come and share a pot of tea.

My house is warm

and my friendship is free"

This cutting files are so cute.

The file is so detail that it includes the tiny tea pot, cups and even the little muffins.

Inside the box you find it full of different kinds of tea bags.

ALOHA GO ROUND CARD

Hi!!!!

It´s time for a new entry using ScrappyDew cutting files.

This time I chose the "Tropical Aloha" file to make a go round card. 

This is a 3d card with 4 sides, that lies down for posting.

Este mes de agosto he tenido el honor de ser invitada a ser diseñadora de Scrappy Dew.

Their cutting files are beautiful, full of life and color and cover all the topics one might want.

Para mi primer proyecto elegí un hermoso archivo "Swimming Dolphins", lleno de sol, mar, delfines y niños divirtiéndose.

For my first project I chose a lovely cutting file "Swimming Dolphins", full of sun, sea, dolphins and children having fun.

El niño en la foto es Jota, mi hijo, disfrutando del mar en "Las Caletas", una bella playa ubicada en la provincia de Puntarenas, Costa Rica.

The boy in the picture is Jota, my son, enjoying the sea in "Las Caletas", a beautiful beach located in the province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica.

Nos vemos con un nuevo proyecto el próximo viernes.

Para no olvidar el reto "Daddy´s taking me to the Zoo tomorrow"

Feliz inicio de semana!!!!

Como dicen en un programa de radio acá en Costa Rica "If you make it through monday, the rest of the week is a piece of cake", o sea "Si sobrevives al lunes, el resto de la semana es un queque" :o)

Hoy vengo a recordarles el reto "Daddy´s taking me to the Zoo tomorrow", que Quirky Crafts.

Para este recordatorio elaboré una tarjeta en forma de bracket, en capas, que me encantó por la profundidad que da al proyecto.

La imagen es un hermoso digi de un hipopótamo muy simpático, provisto por el patrocinador, Doodle Dragon Studios. Con este digi volví a aplicar la técnica de trazado con el programa Studio y luego el paper piecing, pero esta vez lo hice en capas, para darle algo de movimiento.

Por supuesto, el señor Hipo nos está invitando a visitar el zoológico.

Hola!!!!

Bienvenidos a mi proyecto, para el reto #14 de Quirky Craft Challenges.

Esta vez el reto es sumamente divertido e inspirado en un linda canción infantil

Para este proyecto utilicé los sellos digitales de la colección Zoo 10, provistos por el patrocinador, Doodle Dragon Studios. 

Dada la belleza de las líneas de los sellos digitales y usando el programa Studio, fácilmente los convertí en archivos de corte, para poder usar la técnica de paper piecing y hacer esta coqueta shadowbox.
